外教招聘中決定是否成功的因素是什么?
住宿。這是外教找工作的時(shí)候考慮的最為重要的一個(gè)因素。由于生活壞境和文化背景的差異,外國(guó)人比我們中國(guó)人更注重個(gè)人隱私,所以基本上沒有外教能夠接受合住的公寓。而且他們喜歡自己在家做飯吃,所以廚房是公寓里不可缺少的一部分。很多學(xué)校為了省租房的費(fèi)用可能會(huì)給外教安排學(xué)校的單身公寓,廚房客廳臥室等全是在一間房里,這是外教接受不了的,學(xué)校給的待遇再高,因?yàn)檫@樣的住宿外教就不愿意去了。所以還不如多花點(diǎn)費(fèi)用在住宿上,這樣更吸引外教。如果有可能的話,面試的時(shí)候就把住宿照片發(fā)給外教,讓他們看一下以后的住宿環(huán)境,提高真實(shí)性,可能對(duì)他們更有說服力。

合同。既然學(xué)校和外教雙方都彼此滿意的話肯定會(huì)簽書面合同,但是很多學(xué)校簽完后并不按合同上的條款實(shí)行。比如,本來說好是周末休息,但是因?yàn)橛谢顒?dòng)或招生,周末需要加班,休息時(shí)間需另外調(diào)整。還比如,由于學(xué)生數(shù)量增加,不經(jīng)過外教同意隨意增加課時(shí)數(shù)量,或者本來同意給外教買保險(xiǎn),但是外教真出事后發(fā)現(xiàn)并沒有買保險(xiǎn)。這些都會(huì)影響外教對(duì)學(xué)校的印象,如果學(xué)校真給外教留下欺騙的印象,那外教離走就不遠(yuǎn)了。所以,一旦簽訂合同,雙方都必須嚴(yán)格按照合同執(zhí)行,這樣才能確保長(zhǎng)期合作。
